Thai Green Curry

Mummy cooked green curry for dinner tonight hehe. Its been long since daddy and mummy last had green curry.. think the last time they had it was around august?

Ingredients:

Bai Makrut Leave 3g

Coconut milk powder 40g (dissove in 300ml of boiling water)

Green curry paste 30g

Fish sauce (nampla) 10ml

Chicken 250g-cut into chunks

2 Egg plants-cut into chunks

1 packet of shimeji mushroom

1 red and 1 green Pepper-sliced (mummy uses 2 green pepper instead)

Sugar

Directions:

Heat 3 tablespoon of oil and fry the green curry paste till fragrant with low fire

Fry chicken with the paste till cooked

Add in the 'coconut milk' , bai makurt leaves and mix well. let it boil

Add in shimeji mushrooms, Egg plant and green peppers, fish sauce and simmer till ingredients are soft

Add sugar to adjust the spiciness

Serve

Yaki Soba (Japanese Fried Noodle)

Mummy made this quick and easy yaki soba for lunch today.. Basically she just bought the noodle which comes with the yaki soba sauce in the pack. All she need to do is to fry the veg and noodle and add the sauce and TA DA! DONE!

Prawn Mee

Recently mummy has been cooking almost daily as she is trying to save $ haha. And also because daddy comes home early often.. Another reason is ME! Cos mummy says ive been taking hrs n hrs to finish my dinner and i dun eat well outside so she rather cook and stay home so she can feed me for HRS! 2.5hrs or so has become the norm for my dinner!

Mummy has been craving for prawn mee thus she cooked few days ago using singapore's prima taste pre pack (pre pack AGAIN~) lol.

Lotus Root Soup

Mummy made lotus root soup(her fav) last night using a slow cooker for today's meals but daddy says its tasteless though mummy felt it taste good! Hmm.. Guess mummy prefers a blender taste compare to daddy.. i drank a bit too hehe.

Ingredients:

a handful of wolfberries

250g of lotus root

250g of spare ribs(about 3pcs)

water just enough to cover ingredients

some salt to taste

The soup already looks very dark in colour this morning when we wake up.. Guess it might be because of the wolfberries.. mummy wanted to put red dates but was worry that i might not like the taste as she made chicken soup with red dates for me before and i hated the soup..

Together with this soup, mummy also made 'kong pao chicken' and chicken mayo(a popular dish in japan) for dinner and daddy says they are nice! But then.. those are frozen pre packs thus no recipe hehe. Mummy forgot to take photos too.. lol. Well, mummy cant really cook so she often depend on frozen food or pre packs lol. Poor daddy...

Having Fun Running in the shopping center!

Yesterday after my shichida lesson, mummy bring me to have her lunch at the shopping center nearby with her fren and my fren cum classmate hehe. I didnt want to sit in the pram so mummy let me run around and took some photos of me. Recently mummy love to see me in this outfit so she cant help but take LOTS of photos lol

Mummy likes this photo best and she says i look great with this pair of boots! But this boots comes in soft sole (suede) which mummy feels might not be as protective to me delicate foot as compared to those harder sole so she is still on the look out for similar or nicer boots with hard sole out there hehe. but winter is going to be over soon and boots will be too warm for other seasons so perhaps next yr!

Super Hazy Day!

Yesterday was a super hazy day! Not sure why.. but it affected many planes at haneda airport..When we woke up in the morning, the window looks totally white! Mummy thought what has happened! She thought someone pasted some white paper onto our window LOL. we cant see anything outside.. even the condominium opposite us! On the way to my shichida lesson, mummy took some photos of the haze hehe.

New clothes, skirt and socks!

The day before yesterday, mummy dress me up as we are going to Shibuya to meet her frens up for a KTV session. She dress me up in a new jacket, new skirt and new socks which she bought for me sometime ago. Mummy says i look so girly and pretty but daddy says i look so strange! Guess he rarely sees me in skirt thats y... mummy always dress me up like a boy(wear pants)...

Grocery Shopping

Yesterday i went to the supermarket with mummy for grocery shopping.. She bought LOTS of things to cook for 1 whole week and also Rocco's kibbles.. We went there by bicycle and again, i fell asleep on the way back! LOL. Mummy laugh and says im a pig as she removed my helmet, carry me out from the bicycle and bring me home, put me on the bed and i continue to sleep! LOL

New Shoes!

Mummy bought me 2 pair of new shoes today as im almost growing out of those im wearing now. I can wear them without socks but once i wear my socks.. my feet look like dumpling! and mummy has to squeeze so hard to get my legs in but sometimes the velcro tape of the shoes cannot be stick or my feet cannot totally go into the shoes lol. so she decided to get me some bigger shoes that i can wear with my socks since its so cold here still... mummy planned to buy boots for me but then she cant seem to find nice ones which is cheap enough today she end up she bought me these!

The blue ones looks so boyish right?? There is actually another design which is red hearts instead of blue stars but mummy say i look so strange with the red hearts one.. lol. For the one in cream, there is actually another colour in pink but mummy says it too pink since the rubber in the middle is pink as well.. n they are cheap! one pair for 680yen which is bout sgd$10! hehe. She saw a converse one which looks nice too but it cost about 4,500yen! too ex...

Mummy bought me a pair of boots 5 mths back(in sep 2009) http://jumpy-ourpreciousprincess.blogspot.com/2009/09/new-shoes.html but as she bought 1 size bigger, i cant wear it that time but now i can! So today she let me wear it out!

My New Frens!

Yesterday mummy met a sg fren who came to tokyo for holidays and she gave me 2 hello kitties as present! Then mummy suddenly remember that i have another 1 kitty and 1 pooh bear in the wardrobe unopened.. Present from grandma's (daddy's mum) fren.. So she decided to open up all the 4 soft toy and let me take a photo with them hehe. Among the 2 new kitty fren that mummy's fren gave me, i prefer the pink one (there is a yellow one and a pink one) and bring it around the house sometimes but the yellow one.... nothing interesting. hehe. I dun even look at it.. Guess i love pink! LOL. See me surrounded by all my new frens!

Kissing Game

These few days i love to kiss mummy and daddy on their lips or nose! Mummy wonder where i learn this from since she has never taught me and of cos she didnt kiss daddy in front of me! LOL. I love to kiss mummy and daddy while they are sleeping in the morning (morning kiss) which makes mummy and daddy laugh so much. I myself enjoyed alot kissing them as well hehe. I give mummy and daddy morning kiss and good night kiss everyday these few days hehe. Everytime i see mummy closes her eyes (when she try to make me nap by pretending to sleep beside me), i will kiss her secretly hehe. And i learn how to kiss on command. hehe. when mummy ask me to kiss daddy, i will do that and i realised kisses makes everyone happy including me! I am enjoying my kissing game! hehe.

Mummy loves the 2nd video so much but too bad the angle and the lighting is terrible.. lousy mummy... wasted...

Oh and i discover how fun it is to walk backwards recently! Hehe. (nothing to do with kissing though LOL)

Playing the piano with daddy!

Development at 1yr 3 mths old

Recently, through 'your baby can read' DVD, i learned some new vocabulary! I now know where is my nose, mouth, head, toes, belly button, nod my head yes and shake my head no. hehe. However, its not easy to get a video of me doing those as im not really co operative.. I dun always point to my body parts when mummy asked me to. hehe. "Im not a robot mummy! I do have my mood!" And i always say DOG! when i see dogs anywhere! Haha. At the moment, im still not good at speech.. Im only able to say 'daddy', 'no', 'dog' , 'mum mum' .. no mummy yet! Sorry mummy! My 'mum mum' is when i wanna eat something but mummy has no idea at all where i learned it from since she didnt teach me this! Haha. Oh yah! And i always say 'P' for pig haha.

And recently, i love to imitate mummy saying 'AH!' when anyone including me drop anything. hehe. Sometimes i purposely throw my things onto the floor and i will say 'AH!' and look surprise. Daddy says im funny! LOL

Few days ago i manage to stack up some blocks too! Though not perfect, i still did stack them up hehe.

Chicken Rice

Today mummy cooked chicken rice for our dinner(yes u r right. its OURS including me hehe). Its the first time for me to try chicken rice! And almost the first time i try long grain rice. In fact i tried once when i was back in singapore for holiday when i was about 9mths old.. that time, grandma(mummy's mummy) cooked porridge with ngoh he(dunno wat fish is it in english) and brocoli for me but i only took a few mouth.. Today's chicken rice, i almost cleared my bowl! Mummy gave me a full bowl and i left a few mouth in it hehe. BTW, dun misunderstand. mummy didnt really cook this from stretch. She used the pre pack from prima taste which girl girl yiyi(mummy's elder sis) brought here that time she came for holiday LOL.

The photo look so ugly.. mummy says she is unable to take everything inside a photo so just make do with it. Lousy photographer.. Opps.

Easy and Simple Butter Cookies

Mummy has some unsalted butter left in the fridge and they gonna be expired in mar and not enough for a butter cake so mummy thought she can use them to make butter cookies(her first attempt) and this is what she made.

Ingredients:

100ml milk

90g flour

25g icing/powdered sugar

pinch of salt

1/8 teaspoon vanilla eccense

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar till creamy

add in vanilla eccense and pinch of salt. mix well

mix in sifted flour

slowly add in the milk to prevent cuddling

spoon the mixture(its gonna be a little wet. not a dry dough. dun worry its not wrong) onto a greased tin and bake at a 160 degree oven for 20mins or until golden brown

First lesson at Shichida

Today i went for my first lesson at shichida! Its a 50mins lesson. I was a very attentive girl! LOL. i sat on the chair and stare at the teacher's flash card and very co operative throughout the lesson. I did not run around the class rooms or look around much either. the teacher praised me for my attentiveness hehe. but i was a bit sticky to mummy today.. the moment she walk off a bit, i started to chase her and hug her legs hehe. mummy felt i was a bit unlike myself too. Anyway, looking forward to having my next lesson!

Its snowing heavily in Tokyo!

Mummy fell asleep while trying to make me sleep last night and daddy woke her up to see the heavy snow hehe. According to the news, its been 2 years since the last heavy snow in tokyo. Last year it snowed too (on 27th feb-my 4 mths bday so mummy remembers well hehe) but it was not as heavy as this time's.

LAST NIGHT

Mummy is unable to get a nice shot of the snow... its was so heavy that we cannot see anything outside the house! not even the building opposite... so when the snow calms down.. mummy manage to take a photo of the floor covered with snow.. see it?? the roads are all white and we can see the trackss of the tires of the cars which drove past in black!

TODAY

This morning, the snow has more or less melted. The heavy snow only lasted maybe 30mins to 1 hr and it stopped totally... See the difference of this photo and the one above?

Too bad i was asleep and cant play or see the snow... hopefully i can be able to see it soon again! Snow snow!

Finally Recovered!

Ive finally recovered fully from my stomach flu! These few days ive been eating really well as if ive not eaten in years! Eat throughout the day and never seems full. Cant seem to stop eating! Haha. i even bring my snacks into the bathroom when mummy bath me and eat them while taking my bath!

Ive been having diarrhea since 21st Jan all the way to 28th jan and for the past 2 days(29th and 30th), i didnt poop at all. Today my poop was back to normal! No longer watery! Finally~ Appetite great, poop great! LOL

Mummy says she hope that this great appetite of mine is not temporary.
