Home Made Sweet Potato Fries!

Today mummy baked me some sweet potato fries! Though they look ugly.. daddy says they are delicious! Daddy seldom praise mummy's food is delicious hehe. I love them too. So does Rocco!

Mummy says she dunno y these wedges dosent turn brown like those shown in the websites...(she searched for her recipes online)

Here's the recipe:
1 sweet potato
1tbs some oil

Directions:
preheat the oven to about 230 degree celcius.
wash the sweet potato and peel it then cut it into half and cut a thin slice from both ends. This will eliminate little pointy ends on your fries - they're bad because they tend to burn very quickly since they slice up thinner.
Now, take a half of the sweet potato and cut it into large slices about 3/4 inch thick. You'll then cut the larger slices into fries. Your fries should be 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick. Repeat this for the other half!
throw the oil and sweet potato wedges into a plastic bag n mix them well.
Line the ready sweet potatoes on a baking tray evenly. (dun overlap them)
Bake for about 15mins. (until your desired hardness. u can bake more for a crispier fries if u like)

it's because the temperature is too high, thats why they burn before browning.
