Yesterday mummy made me some bolognese macaroni and i cleared my bowl by myself without mummy's help! With my hands of cos.. hee. She jsut use some cherry tomatoes and minced chicken/beef(she minced by herself) and then blend them together in a blender.. then fry them together with the macaroni.. FInally add some cheese. very simple yet i like it. Hehe.
Today mummy made me some rice balls for my dinner as she is getting lazy feeding me she says since ive been eating so slowly ever since i turned 1...its very simple and she is very happy that i eats them by myself (using hands of cos! lol). Basically she just boil some salmons and frozen carrots, peas n corn and then after boiled, she puree them with a mixer then scoop out some freshly cooked rice and mix them altogether. then using wet hands, roll them into mini balls.. she made about 14 balls and i took 9.. she is very happy cos she dosent need to feed me and it wasnt as messy as when i was eating my porridge! hehe
Mummy wanted to bake butter cake for her snacks at night since she is always hungry after putting me to bed recently but then last minute she changed her mind and decided to make a non bake cheesecake instead because... she says... she has no patience to wait for the eggs for the butter cake to get to room temperature (all eggs have to be in room temperature for baked goods) before baking!
She get this recipe from the philadelphia cream cheese's box. But all the ingredients are given in grams thus get ready your kitchen weighing scale!
Preparation Time: 20mins
Ingredients:
Base: 9pcs of graham cookies(about 90g) 40g melted butter
*Put the graham cookies into a plastic bag and tie it up. Then use a rollin pin or whatever u wish to substitute with to roll onto the biskuits until it becomes fine biskuits powder. Then add the melted butter(after it is cooled) into the cookies crumbs and mix well. Then press into a 18cm greased(grease with butter to prevent sticking) springform cake tin with a metal spoon. Leave it aside.
Filling: 1 box of philadelphia cream cheese(about 250g) 60g sugar
*Beat the soften cream cheese(soften at room temperature or put it into a microwave oven and heat it for about 30secs) and sugar until it becomes creamy
200g plain yogurt 1 tablespoon lemon juice 5g of powdered gelatin 50ml water(for gelatin)
*Dissolve the gelatin into the water(DO NOT use boiling water as it will affect the 'performance' of the gelatin). Mix all of the above ingredients into the creamed mixture above until smooth(use anything u like to mix with. mummy uses a spatula) then pour into the cake tin. (you might need to turn/shake the tin a bit to level the mixture inside) Put into the refrigerator and let it cool for at least 2-3hours(mummy prefers to let non cake cheesecake stays in the fridge overnight as it will be harder. If not, it will be a bit soft like jelly...
Mummy bought this from 100yen shop today (its selling for 210yen though) and tried it just a moment ago and to her amaze, the result is amazing! Thus she decided to post and rave it here. haha.
See the big difference of one leg from the other? wow...The area which was 'shaved' becomes so clean and smooth that mummy cant help touching it on n off haha
