Development at 1 year 6 months old

Recently my 'verbal' skills has been developing at a rather fast speed. Sometimes mummy just need to tell me once and i can repeat after her! I can say 'dog dog', 'bye bye', 'mine~' (should be meow though), 'no' etc a few months ago but just these few days (in this week), i learn 'fish', 'car', 'cat', 'bubble', 'ball'. today i pointed to a car in the carpark and says 'CAR!' n mummy was surprise as its the first time i say 'car'...Think its time to 'input' more knowledge(vocabs n motor skills) into my little brain now!

Waterplay!

Yesterday mummy brought me to odaiba to play with water! She met up with 2 other sg mummies and their kids. They are my new fren! I enjoyed myself sooooo much! At first, i was still reluctant to step into the 'fountain' but slowly, i begin to open up as i see how much my fren (valerie) is enjoying herself...mummy kept calling me a copy cat as i kept doing wat valerie does and kept following her lol.

Learn this dance from dvd hee. Still unable to get the 'diamond' done nicely (well mummy cant too! lol). mummy says im so funny as the 'how i wonder what u are' part, i should put my both hands on my chest. instead, i put them on my tummy! lol

Purchases from Toy R Us

Mummy has been in the shopping mood recently and today after my music class, she decided to bring me to toy r us ! Actually she only planned to buy me a new sippy (my old one is still in good state but she says she needs one for juice/barley water etc etc. so she can bring out and i wont spill them onto myself as i always do with those normal juice packs) but end up she bought me alot more! so from now i will have 2 sippies if we are out for long period of time hehe. So a new sippy, a portable stroller fan for the summer... n the below 3 items

To wash my hair!

As what the picture shows above, this thing is used to wash my hair.. the yellow part is made of rubber and its very soft. So just place this onto my forehead and pour the water onto my head so the water wont drip down my face. Tried it tonight. so far so good. I wasnt being very co-operative (keep moving my head) thus mummy got impatient n ended up using the shower head lol.

Drawing Mat!

This mat is interesting! hehe. Its basically a mat.. then there are 2 pens and 3 stamps/chops that comes with it. all u need to do is to add water into the pen as shown above. as long as the pen's tip is wet, u r ready to start drawing! Once the drawings dried up, they dissappear! so u can draw as many times as u like to! The stamps/chops work the same way. jsut wet them with tap water and start stamping! I love this alot and kept on playing with it the whole day! lol

Of this this is only water thus it wont be dirty!

Okinawa Trip

Over the weekends (7th may-9th may) we flew to okinawa for a short trip. Its about 2.5hrs flight from tokyo haneda airport.

All ready to go! Look at my sexy off shoulder new dress from Baby Gap? Hehe

Okinawa is a bit hotter than tokyo.. we arrived at about 5pm in the evening on 7th and it was raining heavily.. on the 8th, weather was fine (phew~) but it rained again on our last day! so sad.. In okinawa, there is no trains! It was mummy's n daddy's first trip there and both of them were surprise at this! There is monorail inside their main city (Naha-the airport is located there too) but there is totally no train or monorail outside Naha...The only means of transportation is bus or car. At night, there are not much street lamps too! The road outside Naha is soooooooo dark that daddy needs to drive with high beam! (we rented a car there) Our hotel is inside onnasonn (about 1.5rs drive from Naha). almost the central of okinawa island. The sea there is BEAUTIFUL! we can see the corals! so clean n clear! The hotel we stayed was a corner room facing the sea thus we got good view of the sea! This photo below is taken from the balcony of our hotel

Ok lets go n have fun today!

On the last day, we went to have some PURPLE ice cream cone before departure. Its sweet potato ice cream. very popular there hehe. Its Yummy!

Playing at fren's house

Today after class mummy and zayne's mummy went for lunch as usual then shop for some summer goods. Mummy bought me another pair of sandal(Puma's) as the previous pair is kinda loose n kept coming off...This new pair manage to stay on me! It was love at first sight for mummy due to the colour(pink n white) hehe. But this colour will get dirty easily.. hmm..

We are going to Okinawa for a 3 days 2 nights trip from tomorrow and okinawa is generally hotter than tokyo thus mummy says i can wear this pair of sandal there tmr! hehe. n not forgetting my sun hat! But not too sure if they are necessary since the weather forecast says that it will rain throughout the whole week there! What bad luck~

Mummy bought me 2 hats for sun protection too! Will post up the photos when i wear them hehe.

After that, we went to zayne's house to play. He sure has LOTS of toys! i had so much fun with his toys esp the slide hehe. Mummy is unable to take any photos or videos of me with the slide as i refuse to let her walk off from me. i wanted her to hold my hand when i slide down hehe. I was pratically spending all my time there! and this is me playing with the swing which comes together with the slide. i wasnt very fond of this as compared.

Lets go for a car ride! Opps, im wearing mini skirt today.. see anything?? arrgg.. so shy...

To the BEACH!

Today is a super hot day! (considering that its still spring now!). Its about 29 degrees at noon...but its a good weather to go to the beach! Daddy plans to go to surf today so mummy n me followed (i woke up at 530am n started playing n refusing to sleep so might as well join daddy?) hehe. It was still a bit cool in the morning when we left house at 730am so i wore my jacket..

We reached the beach at around 1030am (its not inside tokyo) and it was soooooooo hot! So mummy applied some baby sunblk on me and we left the car to play at the beach! But... I hate the sand! I dun wanna walk on it...so mummy carried me all the way to the sea and let me play with the water. BUT still.. i refuse to stand by myself since anyway it will mean i need to step onto the sand! (i was wearing slippers still but i just dun wan to stand on the sand!).. so mummy carried me n lower me down when the waves came in so tat i can kick the sea water.... But mummy complained tat it is too tiring for her so...

we went back to the car! lol enjoying air con... n........ of cos my fav snack!!! LOL
